Who Do I Look Up To, That I Personally Do Not Know?

  • Rickie

I was asked this question recently and I figured it would be a good thing to post on my website.  I know many have followed me for a very long time and some are just becoming aware of who I am. So I figured it would be a good thing to post, so everyone can know.

So, the question was asked:  “Who Do I Idolize That I Do Not Personally Know?”

Obviously it did not take long to answer this question!

I will let you sit for a second, and let you try to guess this answer…

The person who I admire and idolize most, that I do not personally know is:   Elon Musk

Now I am asking myself, how many of you got that correct?   LOL

Many people do not like Elon Musk.  But I think this man is a genius.  He thinks outside the box and if he messes up, he laughs and goes on and tries again until he finally succeeds.

I have watched videos of him online, on how he candidly talks to his employees. He does not treat his employees as employees, but as friends.  He knows and understands the importance of every person in the company plays a vital role, regards of your job position.  And he has fun doing it.

Many have said he is a straight up jerk.  Heck, many say that about me. So that don’t say much, lol.

If you take time and really study Elon Musk, I think many of you would admire him as well.

He is making waves and pushing forward and breaking barriers and making history for mankind.

I mean what else could you ask for in a true hero.

How can you not like a man who put a freaking Tesla into space!

Advance our space exploration and push mankind forward, that is my idol!

Rickie Traeger: Do Landowners Have To Disclose To New Homeowners if Someone Passed Away On Their Land?

  • Rickie

I want to first wish my grandma a Happy 84th Birthday.  Happy Birthday Grandma!

I know that some stuff I post, some do not agree with my opinions. That is fine, because at times I do not agree with other peoples as well. That is life…   However, if you disagree with my opinions and posts, feel free to contact me. I am always happy to learn new things and have an open mind about things. Yes, I may have formed my own opinion on things, but that doesn’t mean that I am not open to hearing others opinions as well.

So you are probably asking yourself, why did I mention that. Well what I am about to write below, is very controversial with some people. Especially to those who do not have an open mind…  Ghosts!

Yup, you would think living in 2020 a lot of people would have open minds. But in reality, many have their own opinions and don’t have an open mind or want to hear other peoples opinions. Sad but true.

So here it goes, short and simple.

I have been doing Rockford Scanner for well over a decade now.  I have worked numerous scenes.  Sadly, some of those have been fatal scenes. I do not like working those types of scenes at all.  Very sad scenes.  I can recall almost every fatal scene I have worked over the years.  And as I go about doing my daily life, I pass by the locations of some scenes I have worked over the years.  And I can’t help but think of the scene, as I pass by the locations.  I see locations that have developed over the years, with new houses and other buildings that were built on the same land that a person passed away on. But that brings me to the main part of this post.

When you buy a house, they are supposed to tell the potential new owners if someone has passed away in the home.  I think that is a good thing. But come to find out many realtors do not do that. They said they don’t want to lose a potential buyer. It is crazy, but that is besides the point.  My point of this post is…

Some scenes I have worked that were fatal, were not inside residences at all.   Over the years the land develops and homes are built on the land that someone has passed away on.  New houses that are being built on land, on the very spot the person has passed away at.

Do the land owners, or the people selling the homes have to tell these new home owners that a person passed away on that land, the very spot their house sits on?   Or do they not have to tell the new home owners?

Because what if a new home owner bought a house and begin to experience paranormal activity.  And they know the house is new, so they can not research the house to see if anyone passed away in it, to explain the possible paranormal activity that is going on.  So what options do these new homeowners have, when they want to research and try to see what is causing the paranormal activity?  Realtors are “supposed” to tell the new homeowners.  But what if it is a new house, are they supposed to tell the new homeowners someone passed away on the land?

I like to hear everyones opinion on this topic.   I know some do not agree with the paranormal topic. And I respect that. But I ask that you have an open mind and listen to others opinions and questions on the topic.

Rickie Traeger: March 2nd Blog

Happy Monday!

I was scanning the band earlier tonight and heard a GMRS net.  That was the first time I have heard that. Sounded like most of them were to the North of me.  But holy cow it was cool hearing the GMRS being used, and used properly.   I have my license for the GMRS, but never hear anything on it. So it was cool just hearing something on it!

Sooooooooooooo I missed the Walking Dead.  I am about to watch the re-run of it.  Sounds like it was a good episode and I missed alot.  I guess here shortly, I will find out!   It is weird seeing Dani from Hocus Pocus on the Walking Dead.  And I am still getting used to the new cast. It is like a whole new show in itself, because like 98% of the original cast is gone 🙁

I been wanting to go for a hot air balloon ride.  Anyone know where I can do that locally?  I know it will be a bit before that happens, because it is still cold out. But I want to look into it and start planning it, so when it does get warm enough I can do it.  Also, Skydiving.  But i think I know in Beloit and Rochelle offer those 🙂

Rickie Traeger: Tomorrow is the Super Bowl, Who are you rooting for?

Tomorrow is the Super Bowl

Who are you rooting for?

I am going to be rooting for the Chiefs.

I like the 49’ers, but there are some friends down south that are huge fans of the Chiefs.

So I am going to support my friends and root for the Chiefs.

Rickie Traeger: Happy Wet Tuesday Blog

I hope everyone is staying dry. It is a wet Tuesday out there.

I been wanting to re-watch Project Blue Book, but they are making you pay for it online to watch it, grrrr.

I been playing with the sdr dongle, listening to the local radio on it.  The antenna that came with it, sucks. So I am going to buy an antenna adapter for it. I want to be able to listen to the aircraft with it.

Not to much to add to todays blog, other than I am hoping to work on some websites later tonight.

Everyone please be safe.

Rickie Traeger: Chrome Stopped Loading My Website Graphics

I think I may have found out the issue that I been trying to troubleshoot all day!  It is simple to, but confusing!

I have had an issue with the graphics loading on here.

When I use the chrome browser, they do not load. But if I use the firefox browser the site loads perfectly!  Sooooooooo, it looks like it is not an issue with my website after all and it is a chrome issue!

With that being said, it is a pain to work on the website when chrome don’t want to load the graphics. It makes it very challenging. OK, a real pain in the butt. But now that I have narrowed it down, I have to figure out why chrome ain’t loading the graphics now.

It definitely has me wondering and scratching my head going, hmmmmm.

It worked great on chrome, then all of a sudden it did not load the graphics. And the site loads great on the other browsers.

My question to you is:  Why all of a sudden did chrome stop loading my graphics, out of the blue?
